The Start of my Blogging Journey
Welcome to my blog!
Some noted writers say blogging is a good thing to do if you are a writer (which I presume myself to be). So, here I am, blogging away on my very first blog!
I just visited Barrett Warner’s website—to read his blog. Barrett Warner is a writer, editor, poet, and speaker. The Eastern Shore Writer’s Association (ESWA), of which I am a member, brought Mr. Warner to Dover a few years ago. I thoroughly enjoyed his talk over lunch at our local Roma Restaurant, and afterwards, I wrote a poem about the event. My poem, “Barrett Warner Comes to Dover,” was published in ESWA’s Bay to Ocean Journal 2018, and will appear again in my book, a poetry collection,
Standing in the Middle of the Road
to be released later this year by Carpenter’s Son Publishing, LLC. I hope I’ve whetted your appetite . . . (no pun intended). And now, I suppose it’s a good idea, when trying something for the first time, to make it short—especially if it’s a first-time blog. (As yet, I haven’t seen a rule book for bloggers.)
Hopefully, my resolve will remain strong . . . and you will find me blogging away again soon!
Grace and peace to all.
